Nova Meds is getting ready to open on Middlebelt Rd in Garden City, between Ford Rd and Warren Rd, with opening planned for late October 2026. While we finish getting everything in place, we wanted to introduce one of the services we are setting up: walk-in vaccinations. It is a small thing, but it is one way we hope to make everyday life a little easier for folks nearby.
We know that finding time to book an appointment can be one more thing on a long list, especially during a busy week. Once we open, vaccinations at Nova Meds will not need one. If you want to know more before then, ask us, and we will do our best to answer.
Walk-In, No Appointment Needed
Flu, COVID-19, shingles, RSV and more vaccinations without an appointment is part of what we plan to offer once our doors open. Walk-in means exactly that: no calling ahead, no waiting for a callback, and no setting a time in advance. Once we are open, you will not need to plan around a set time, and our pharmacist will take care of the rest.
We are sharing this now, before we open, because we want neighbors to know what is on the way. The exact list of vaccinations and how the walk-in process will work are details we are glad to go over with you once we are open. In the meantime, ask us anytime by phone, email, or message.
What You Can Ask Us
A blog post is not the place to say which vaccination fits your situation or your health history. Those are personal questions, and the answer is different for everyone. That is a conversation for you, your doctor, and our pharmacist, and we would rather get it right than guess in a blog post.
What we can tell you is that once Nova Meds opens, our pharmacist will be ready to answer your questions, walk-in, no appointment required. Whatever your questions are, we would rather you ask us than wonder on your own.
Part of a Neighborhood Pharmacy
Walk-in vaccinations are just one piece of what we are building here. Nova Meds is independent and owner-run, and we like knowing our neighbors by name. Once we are open, our range of services will also include prescriptions and refills, consultations, over-the-counter products, and more, all from the same friendly faces.
If you are planning to move a prescription to us once we open, we can handle the transfer from your current pharmacy so it feels simple instead of stressful. And if you have a question right now, reach out to us. We would love to hear from you, and we hope you will follow us for news from the neighborhood as our opening gets closer.
