We are getting the pharmacy ready at 6749 Middlebelt Rd, between Ford Rd and Warren Rd, and one of the things we're most looking forward to offering our neighbors is free local delivery. Nova Meds is an independent, owner-run pharmacy, and we want it to feel like one from day one, which means thinking about the neighbors who have a hard time getting out.
That's why free local delivery is part of the plan right from the start, alongside the rest of our services. We wanted to share early how it will work, so you know what to expect once we open our doors.
How Delivery Will Work
Once we are open, we plan to offer free delivery within 15 miles of the pharmacy. The idea is simple: when getting out is not easy on a given day, we can bring what you need from the pharmacy to your door instead.
We'll share more specifics on how to request a delivery as we get closer to opening. For now, just know it's part of how we plan to take care of this neighborhood.
How Far Delivery Will Reach
Once we open, delivery will reach addresses within 15 miles of the pharmacy at 6749 Middlebelt Rd in Garden City. That gives us a good amount of room for Garden City and the surrounding area.
If you're curious whether your address falls within that range, you are welcome to get in touch and ask. We're happy to talk it through with you.
Why We're Doing This
We're an independent pharmacy, which means we get to make choices like this ourselves. Free local delivery isn't an add-on we're testing out; it's part of who we want to be in this neighborhood, right alongside knowing our neighbors by name.
Whether it's an older adult who'd rather not drive across town, a busy parent, or anyone who just needs a little help getting their medicine, we are building this service with you in mind.
If you are thinking about moving a prescription to Nova Meds once we open, we can handle the transfer from your current pharmacy as well.
